Zemun International Salon of Caricature was found by Julijana Živković and Branko Najhold.

JULIJANA ŽIVKOVIĆ
Born in 1955 in Zemun, since 1992 she was employed in publishing house "Trag". She was the editor of a lot of books, and for newspapers "Chronicle for Zemun" she wrote numerous articles. From 2001 untill 2003 she was a president of Yugoslavian branch of Cartoonist's Rights Network (CRN). She died in 2003 after a hard and evil disease.


BRANKO NAJHOLD
Born in 1947 in Zemun. He wrote about 40 books dedicated to history and cultural events of Zemun as well as several books of novels. Also, he wrote several hundred articles for different newspapers and magazines. He was editor of the cartoon magazine "Kart". Author of many articles connected with history and theory of cartoon art and jury member on several domestic and international cartoon competitions. The award of Zemun city for culture won in 2001, and FECO special award in 2006.

Zemun International Salon of Caricature works in the scope of publishing house "Trag", founded in 1989 by Branko Najhold. "Trag" published a lot of very important books for Serbian culture and published several magazines.
