Magazine KART PDF Štampa El. pošta

Zemun International Salon of Caricature for a years published cartoon magazine "KART" which reported all actual events in Yugoslavian cartooning and brought articles from the field of history and theory of cartooning. It was the first and the only magazine of that profile which ever was published in Serbia and Yugoslavia (nowadays Serbia and Montenegro).

First issue of "KART" magazine appeared on December 31st, 1997 and it permanently was published at first each two months and later each three months, even seven years. Because of lack of money, but also because of increasing duties of Branko Najhold, who was the editor and the writer of almost all articles in all issues, "KART" on sorrow was stopped with issue number 39, on December 31st, 2004.

All time while it was published "KART" was very popular among Yugoslavian cartoonists. The reason was it's actuality as well as a lot of interesting articles. Also, "KART" wrote very directly about all problems in Yugoslavian cartooning and with full name outstood all persons which caused damages, trying always to contribute to its reputation.

Rather it was printed only in Serbian language, "KART" had subscribers also in abroad and several important cartoon institutions asked completes of the magazine for their archives and collections, like the Cartoon Museum in Warszawa or some famous cartoon book collectors
